Build
Knowing what needs fixing is only half the work.
A Build engagement takes the clarity from your assessment and turns it into practical operational infrastructure. Processes that hold. Governance that works. Structure that makes the business easier to run.
Is Build right for you?
Build engagements are for organisations that are ready to act.
You do not need a prior Bloomfield Street assessment to commission a Build engagement. If you already have a clear picture of what needs improving, we can move straight into scoping and delivery.
Coming from an assessment
Your Clarity Index results have surfaced clear priorities. A Build engagement implements the improvements that matter most.
Arriving with a known problem
You already know what needs building -- you just need a structured, experienced partner to deliver it properly.
Preparing for growth
You are about to scale, hire, or bring on investment and need your operational foundations to be solid before you do.
Following a significant change
A restructure, a merger, a rapid expansion or a period of founder absence has left gaps that need addressing systematically.
What we build
Practical infrastructure across six operational areas
Build engagements are scoped around what your business actually needs rather than fixed packages. The following areas illustrate the breadth of what Bloomfield Street delivers, most engagements draw across more than one.
Governance and controls
Risk registers, policy frameworks, decision logs, review schedules and the assurance infrastructure that makes the business easier to trust and harder to destabilise.
Risk register - Policy ownership - Decision log
Processes and workflows
SOPs, onboarding workflows, service delivery frameworks and handoff design that make your most important activities consistent and repeatable.
SOPs - Onboarding workflows - Handoff design
Roles and ownership
Accountability mapping, delegation frameworks and responsibility structures that reduce founder dependency and give your team genuine clarity about what they own.
Accountability maps - Delegation frameworks
People and capability
Onboarding programmes, training design and knowledge transfer structures that build team capability and reduce reliance on memory and informal learning.
Onboarding programmes - Training design
Visibility and reporting
KPI frameworks, dashboards and leadership reporting structures that give you a reliable view of what is happening without manual effort or reactive discovery.
KPI frameworks - Dashboards - Reporting packs
Document and information control
Folder architecture, naming conventions, version control and document ownership structures that mean the right information is always findable by the right people.
Folder structure - Naming conventions - Registers
How it works
Scoped, delivered and handed over properly.
Every Build engagement is defined before it starts. You know what is being built, what sits outside scope, and what the end state looks like. No open-ended retainers, no scope creep, no abstract recommendations without follow-through.
1. Scoping conversation
We start with a focused conversation about what you need. If a prior assessment exists, we use the findings to shape the scope. If not, we agree priorities together before any work begins.
2. Defined proposal
You receive a clear proposal setting out exactly what will be built, what the deliverables are, what sits outside scope and what the investment is. No ambiguity.
3. Phased delivery
Work is delivered in practical phases with regular check-ins. You are involved enough to make decisions, not so involved that it adds to your workload.
4. Handover and embedding
Everything built is handed over in a format your team can own, use and maintain. The goal is not dependency on Bloomfield Street -- it is operational infrastructure that works without us.
